Head Mechanic Marc is a talented bike rider across most disciplines who has ridden for factory racing teams across Australia and internationally. He has travelled with the Australian Institute of Sport National Cycling Team as mechanic on their Asian and European racing tours. These trips, coupled with his own cycling and half of his life spent working at Ride Shop , have given him a broad range of skills that are put to good use in the workshop every day.

BIKE FITTING
They say you never forget how to ride a bike. You may also never forget the discomfort associated with riding a bike. Many cyclists believe that the pain between your shoulders, saddle induced numbness or aching knees and back is just part of cycling. Well, it is, when your bike doesn’t fit you properly.
Your bodies position on the bike effects how you ride. Saddle height will effect how much power you can efficiently deliver to the pedals and choosing the right frame size will greatly enhance balance and cornering speed.
Bicycles come in numerous sizes for a reason, as the right fitting bike will ensure all your cycling experiences are happy ones, no matter what you ride or where.
Ride Shop uses the Juteau Cantin Ergonomic Geometry bike fit system. This system will assist our staff in offering our customers the best possible service when fitting your new bike, or the perfect fit on your current ride.
